The European Research and Innovation Days 2025 return on 16–17 September 2025, gathering Europe’s research, innovation and policy communities in Brussels and online. Organised by the European Commission, this flagship event will focus on how R&I drives Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability, and industrial leadership.

This year’s edition comes at a pivotal moment for the future of European research policy – with discussions on the next long-term EU budget and major policy initiatives such as the Startup and Scaleup Strategy, the AI in Science Strategy, and the European Life Sciences Strategy.

The widerAdvance Facility will be proudly featured through a dedicated presentation and participation at the joint EU booth.

Focus and Key Themes

The widerAdvance Facility will participate in a 30-minute deep dive session on 16 September from 15:00 to 15:30 CET, highlighting the tailored services it offers to organisations in Widening Countries and Outermost Regions.

Visitors will learn how the Facility supports beneficiaries of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects in:

  • Dissemination & exploitation of research results

  • Intellectual property management and standardisation

  • Capacity building and strategic communication

  • Coaching, matchmaking, and visibility

The session will be part of a broader joint presence with other key Horizon support initiatives, including the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the Horizon Results Platform, the Booster services, and the Horizon Dashboard.

The booth will also showcase widerAdvance through a dedicated slide on screen rotation, featuring the message:

Advance Further with Horizon’s WiderAdvance Facility
Tailored expert services for Widening countries: from IP and standardisation to dissemination, exploitation, and capacity building — transforming research results into real-world impact.

Participants visiting the booth will have access to project experts and information materials. Digital content such as presentations and interactive demos will be available on demand.
