On 11 June 2026, the widerAdvance Facility consortium gathered in Brussels for the project review meeting hosted by the European Research Executive Agency.
The meeting brought together the Project Officer, three external reviewers, Work Package Leaders, Task Leaders and contributors to discuss the progress achieved so far and reflect on the next steps in the implementation of the Facility.
During the review, the consortium presented the main achievements across all work packages, including the development and delivery of services supporting research teams from Widening countries and Outermost Regions, the progress of dissemination and exploitation activities, stakeholder engagement, and the overall management of the Facility. The presentations were followed by a detailed discussion with the reviewers and the Project Officer, providing valuable feedback and recommendations for the next stages of the project.
The day before the review, on 10 June 2026, the consortium also held its 6th Consortium Meeting in Brussels. This was an important opportunity for partners to meet in person, discuss the progress made since the previous meeting, and plan the key activities for the upcoming six months. The meeting helped align priorities, strengthen coordination between partners, and prepare the consortium for the next phase of implementation.
The review meeting was a constructive and fruitful moment for the widerAdvance Facility. It offered space not only to present the work completed so far, but also to reflect on the project’s impact, operational improvements, and future actions aimed at supporting research teams in advancing the valorisation of their Key Exploitable Results.
We would like to thank the Project Officer, the reviewers, the European Research Executive Agency, and all consortium partners for their active participation, valuable insights and continued commitment to the widerAdvance Facility.
