Across Europe and beyond, research teams are producing excellent results. If you work in a Widening country, Outermost Region or Associated Country, you may know how challenging it can be to take those results beyond reports and publications.
You may be asking yourself: How do we make our results visible? How do we turn project outcomes into something sustainable?
You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
The widerAdvance Facility is here to support you and your team in turning your research results into impact that reaches society, informs decision-makers and finds real-world application in industry or public services.
Why this matters for you
Good research can improve lives, drive innovation, strengthen economies, and guide better policy. Yet, many teams struggle to take their work beyond the project itself. Some common barriers include:
- difficulty communicating complex results in clear, engaging ways
- limited access to networks and partners who can adopt or use the results
- challenges in finding funding to scale or sustain research outcomes
- lack of clarity on how to protect or share knowledge strategically
If you’re based in a Widening country or an Outermost Region, these challenges can be even harder to overcome due to limited networks, visibility or access to specialised support.
That’s why the European Commission is putting growing emphasis on dissemination, exploitation and knowledge valorisation, and why dedicated support services like widerAdvance Facility exist.
